With blessings all along the way, the Lummi are traveling with a 22 foot totem pole at the request of the Grand Chief in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The goal of this journey is to bring together, honor, and strengthen relations between tribes, NGO’s, the faith-based community, and civic leaders opposed to proposed fossil fuel export projects and lay a foundation for a broad-based alliance to press for action to address climate change.

More details to be announced shortly. In the meantime save the date for when the totem pole comes to a city near you!
