Earth Ministry/Washington Interfaith Power & Light, as part of the Power Past Fracked Gas coalition, has been actively fighting against fracked gas within Washington for years. As Executive Director LeeAnne Beres states in this press release, “We are grateful that the Governor acknowledged that this is a matter of conscience. It is morally sound to invest in clean energy over dirty and dangerous fossil fuels such as fracked gas. People of faith will continue to call upon the permitting agencies to follow the Governor’s moral compass.”
