Environmental stewardship is part of teachings from the world’s faith traditions.
In Washington State, faith activists want a government that works for “we the people” and protects the health of the natural world we have been given. Each year, Earth Ministry/WAIPL – working with leaders in public policy, science, business, and health care – chooses bills that most strongly reflect our values of stewardship and justice, and advocates for them through the legislative process. Climate Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy
Earth Ministry/WAIPL has been a member of the Climate Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy since its inception in 2014. The Climate Alliance is a statewide coalition of communities of color, environmental advocates, labor unions, health professionals, businesses, and faith communities working with tribal nations – plus thousands of volunteers from across Washington State – committed to building a resilient climate justice movement.
