In celebration of Earth Month, join with your neighbors in a 9 day journey of prayer, reflection, and mediation to acknowledge the beauty of local water, land, resources, and extraordinary people.
The program is designed to begin on April 14th and ends on Earth Day, April 22. The prayer booklet contains short, thought-provoking prompts for each day’s reflection. An Earth Blessing Event will conclude the journey on the 9th day. A group will gather outside of the South Whidbey High School Commons at 6:30pm to enjoy a blessing of the earth from many traditions and prayers. Afterwards there will be a screening of Thin Ice: The Inside Story of Climate Science at 7:00pm.
