In 2025, Earth Ministry/Washington Interfaith Power & Light’s strategic plan has led us to focus on three key areas of work: Energy, Health, and Water. When we look at the work that we do, we see that the bulk of it falls within these three areas, and most of our activity addresses two, if not all three, areas simultaneously.
From Hope to accessible energy efficiency, to agriculture, we will bring different traditions, backgrounds, and stories to not educate one another as well as give you practical tools to continue the work that you do!
Spring: Season of Jubilee
2025 introduces the Catholic Church’s Jubilee celebration, or Holy Year, which focuses on themes of Hope, “spes non confundit” (hope does not disappoint). At Earth Ministry/Washington Interfaith Power & Light we want to highlight this Jubilee’s theme and encourage our community to cultivate and sustain practices of hope in the face of adversity. Whether the practices is taking pilgrimages, prayers, or other rituals, we want to highlight these different practices and backgrounds to inspire one another this Spring!
