Transportation
The Union of Concerned Scientists recently identified transportation as the most significant, consumer-related environmental problem. Of great importance is the tremendous contribution that cars and light trucks make to global warming (almost 30 percent of all greenhouse gasses). Therefore, making sustainable transportation choices needs to be a top priority.
Simple Things You Can Do

Use more efficient, less polluting vehicles

Commute by bus, bike, carpool, or walking

Check tire pressure every month

Turn off you engine when stopped for more than 30 seconds

Think about your trip and use the most efficient vehicle possible for the job
