The Citizen's Guide then lists 101 simple steps which each of us can take to help avert these potential disasters. The steps are divided into several areas: home energy conservation, office, automobile use, shopping, diet, health, tree planting, and gardening. Following each step is the information necessary to immediately implement the suggestion.
