Earth Ministry Gathering: Food, Climate Change, and the Church

We are pleased to invite colleagues and members of Earth Ministry to a 350 event that integrates the urgency of climate change with the inspiration and mobilization of faith communities. At this time, we will introduce Earth Ministry's new resource, "Caring for All Creation: At the Table," and dialogue with one another about the greening processes of our faith communities. The program will begin at 9:30am and conclude with a potluck lunch at 12 noon.

Join us to learn more about Earth Ministry’s newest project, Washington Interfaith Power & Light! Co-sponsored by the Temple Beth Am Green Team, this gathering will bring together people of many faith traditions from around Washington to discuss WAIPL, hear about the Jewish Climate Challenge, get updated on Earth Ministry’s legislative efforts on climate change issues, and network with others who are concerned about global warming.

Join Earth Ministry staff members and others from the Institute for Ecology, Theology, Spirituality, and Justice "Literagy for Earth and Spirit" for a time of prayer and thanksgiving. Dr. Cynithia D. Moe-Lobeda, will be preaching and a special prayer will be said to honor all of Earth Ministry's Greening Congregations. All are welcome to attend!
