Earth Ministry Individual Membership

Members are the heart of Earth Ministry! Our work is made possible by people like you who support faith-based environmental stewardship. All members receive regular updates on our work, invitations to Earth Ministry events, and a one-year subscription to our award-winning quarterly journal, Earth Letter.

Members at the Steward level and higher also receive personal invitations to Earth Ministry events and an invitation to our annual “Hors d'oeuvres with Earth Ministry” event.  Members of the Sacred Circle receive all of the above and an invitation to "Lunch with LeeAnne," our Executive Director.

Gift Membership

Through our secure website, you can also make a tax-deductible gift in honor of another person and they will receive a one-year gift membership to Earth Ministry with all the benefits described above.  This is a great way to introduce someone to the important work of Earth Ministry and makes a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift.

Monthly Donation

A convenient, easy way to support Earth Ministry is through a monthly donation. 

• $10 per month (about 33 cents a day)
• $15 per month (about 50 cents a day)
• $20 per month (about 66 cents a day)
• $25 per month (about 83 cents a day)

Earth Ministry Congregational Membership

Earth Ministry relies on funding from individual and congregational memberships to continue to provide much-needed resources and to support the diversity of our faith and environment programs.  We have multiple levels of membership and can work with you to engage your church appropriately.

All congregational members receive regular updates on our work, invitations to Earth Ministry events, a one-year subscription to our award-winning quarterly journal, Earth Letter , and are listed on our website.

Congregational Members at the Green Spirits level receive a free in-person staff consultation once during the membership year (limited to Washington State).  Members at the Earth Stewards level also receive one free adult education session once during the membership year and a free copy of the Greening Congregations Handbook (limited to the first year of membership).  Members at the Creation Keepers level receive all of the above benefits and a free copy of our newest Caring for All Creation module (limited to the first year of membership).  Sacred Circle members receive all of the above and a second in-person staff consultation; Web of Life members receive all of the above and a second Greening Congregations Handbook (limited to the first year of membership).

Congregations who choose to partner with Earth Ministry to become a Greening Congregation will receive a banner to be displayed in their sanctuary or fellowship hall and a profile of their congregation on our website.

Washington Interfaith Power & Light Membership

Individuals and congregations from all faith traditions are welcome to become members of Washington Interfaith Power & Light.  Congregational members also sign a "Congregational Covenant" to formalize a working relationship with WAIPL. We have multiple levels of membership and can work with you to engage your house of worship appropriately. Use our easy and secure online giving page to make a donation using your Visa or MasterCard. You may also mail a check to our office.
