On April 24, the Friday evening Taize prayer service at St. James Cathedral will be a special vigil for climate action and protection. Our faith calls us to care for Creation and to stand in protection of the poorest and most vulnerable humans, ecosystems, and species that will be most harmed by climate change.
Hosted by St. James Community, this is an ecumenical service co-sponsored by St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral and Earth Ministry/Washington Interfaith Power and Light.
Please join us and the two Western Washington cathedral communities for prayer and meditation on the beauty of Creation and the call for climate justice. A reception will follow, with a chance to meet other people of faith who are interested in prayer, reflection, and action on behalf of God’s Earth.
