Magnuson Park, Kite Hill Parking lot, 7400 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115
For the fourth year in a row, this growing interfaith community will meet at the Kite Hill parking lot in Magnuson Park.
We will hike back into the park and plant trees in honor of the Jewish New Year of Trees. A word to the wise: wear shoes/boots that can get dirty. If you have shovels and gloves, bring them; if not, don’t worry, they will be provided by the Park Service. This is an incredibly fun event. You do not want to miss it. Bring your children, and as the children grow, they can stand side by side with trees they have planted in prior years. You will want to take pictures. You will meet people. You will learn about Tu B’Shvat. You will get dirty, and you will have fun! Please RSVP to Manny Jacobowitz firstname.lastname@example.org we can be sure to have enough trees for everyone.
