King Street Station, 303 S. Jackson Street, Seattle, WA 98104
This summer, we really got a taste of climate change and it has never been more clear that we cannot allow new fossil fuel infrastructure to be built.
Now, we are looking to Governor Inslee to deny the largest oil train terminal in North America proposed to be built in Vancouver, WA. On January 18, we will gather at King Street Station to thank Governor Inslee in advance for denying this dangerous project, and call on him to go further by publicly opposing all new fossil fuels in Washington, including fracked gas and petrochemical proposals.
Join us to help stop North America’s largest oil train terminal, and all other fossil fuel proposals in Washington. Speakers will include Dow Constantine, King County Executive, Rev. Dr. Marilyn Cornwell representing Earth Ministry, Rich Stolz from One America, Jamie Margolin from Plant for the Planet, and Dr. Amundsen from Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility. See the Facebook event for more details and please wear red to symbolize your opposition to fossil fuels!
