Mt. Zion Baptist Church 1634 19th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122

How does climate change cause social injustice and how does social injustice cause climate change?

What can we do about it and what does faith have to say about it? This second annual conference sponsored by the Faith Action Climate Team (FACT) will have workshops; interfaith panel; and Deborah Parker, Tulalip Activist, as a keynote speaker.

Workshop topics include the intersections of climate change with immigration, racism, economic justice, labor, food, health care, the military, corporate power; and how to talk about climate change. The low-cost, sliding-scale advance registration includes an organic, vegan lunch. The full program is here: http://www.eatingforahealthyplanet.org/conference-program_2017.pdf.
